Atlantis Health Plan continues to work with the Departments of Insurance and Health to finalize our recapitalization plan and expects to conclude the initiative shortly. Atlantis remains encouraged by the number of acceptances of its settlement offers and looks forward to even greater participation by the closing date. Important Changes to New York State Public Health and Insurance Laws

A number of changes to the New York State Public Health and Insurance Laws were passed this year that impact health care providers who participate in Managed Care Networks. These changes are required by law and modify Atlantis Health Plan’s current Provider Manual and Policies and Procedures. Stellaris Health System, Westchester County

As of December 1, 2010, the following four hospitals affiliated with Stellaris Health System in Westchester County no longer participate in the Atlantis Health Plan (“Atlantis”) Provider Network:

If a member is in an ongoing course of treatment, has been scheduled for a procedure/admission, or has entered the second trimester of pregnancy, please call Atlantis’ Utilization Management department toll-free at 800-270-9072 for assistance in making alternative arrangements.
